Owning two houses with over a million dollars in equity might technically make one a millionaire. Merely owning two houses does not. The estimated 2003 median home value in the United States is $124,000, therefore the MEDIAN equity value IF owned 100% free and clear would be less than 25% of your claim. This is the median across the entire country, not Fort Fungus.
