they apparently sent more than 100 notices. most likely they were mostly to small places but there were some large schools too... just enough to keep people from crying foul.
i am sure they are picking their fights wisely. they dont want to do anything in the first round that will not result in settlements... so they can go to bigger schools and say "see, they are all signing, so you should too" just like they constantly imply with their press releases/letters regarding the adult biz.
regardless, i can't personally see attacking universities as a reasonable strategy to generate revenues. a university can't just panic and cut a check like a private business can.
