Of course I knew it was satire... I read TheOnion.com every week... I run satire all the time. I've made a name with it, been threatened with endless lawsuits over it. Remember my Eddie's Kids satire that infuriated AVN, Goalie? Yeah, I know satire when I read it, because I write it all the time, and I have strong background in literature.
