Sheez... No body gave me any advice when I was 20, I was in the Navy, so all they did was give orders (swab that deck, haul that keel, anchors aweigh, kill that guy)..... and I was not at home after 16 or so........ So, I misssed most of the parental advice......
I do however, try to give my kids advice, but it is largely wasted, they decided long ago that I know nothing about the way things work....
They refuse to learn from my (or any one elses) mistakes so they will end up doing it the hard way and learn from their own mistakes... Much more expensive route that........
