By the way, Peaches, the English dept head of my school insisted that we teach students not to end a sentence with a preposition. The text books we were using said it was a NO NO! Since my 12th grade students couldn't read 3rd grade books, the least of my worries was whether or not they knew how to use prepositions. Are you going to look up more theories about whether it is correct to say "Me and Kimmy went to the bar," and we no longer have to say, "Kimmy and I went to fetch a pail of water?" We have to follow guidelines. I bet your son was taught that it was okay for him to say, "ME AND MOM KNOW OUR ENGLISH." :P
