You mean you allowed yourself to be "socially engineered" (I'm still not sure what all that entails...) by someone you've never even met??
And to write that stuff on the RSVP site for Gary's birthday party is nothing short of tacky, IMHO. Everything has its place and time - that was neither the place nor the time.
