I did a few years ago - both the FBI and the IRS came over to my house to chat about an ex-boss. He's now spending 4.5 years in Club Fed so apparently, they didn't like what they heard from me or the other 20 or so people they spoke with.
The interesting thing is that he had 10's of millions offshore and the while the offshore accounts are what nailed him, the government has NOT been able to get them to pay his fines (several million in fines he owes).
