Rainbows are OK as are Kirbys (my Mother's had her Kirby for at least 30 years...). They last forever, but I'm not convinced the suction is so great on them.
I have SO much dog hair in my carpet that it's pitiful - plus, I need something in the next couple of days, lol!
Consumer Reports rated the Hoovers high. The one I have now was rated "Best Buy" and it HAS been put through the ringer. I think what did it in was the dogs getting into the trash last week and me having to vacuum up boiled peanuts from under the cabinets.
I may end up even getting another Eureka like I have.
