I know where at least one snake handling church is up toward Peaches neck of the woods. They coulda probably get you over your phobia. In these parts they use mostly rattlers, moccasins and copperheads.
Reminds me of an old Jerry Clower joke.
Jerry and his buddy got ribbed into unknowingly going into a snake handling church one sunday. When they broke out the snakes and started dancing around and passing them out, Jerry leans over to his buddy and says "where's the backdoor in this place".
His buddy responds "they dont have one". To which Jerry replies "where you reckon they want one?".
