Yes ... I know that the NASA released selective transcripts this year that support the Israeli position. There have always been folks within the U.S. Government who are willing to overlook or accept the Israeli version; the current political environment may have contributed to the release of that information at this time.
We're talking here about a military with intelligence skills and capabilities that should serve as role model for military services everywhere - the overflights conducted a dozen times or more in the 24 hours leading up to the attack provided enough data for a one-eyed color blind drunken intelligence weenie to determine what the ship was. There is no way to portray the followup attacks by surface vessels as a mistake. Maybe the glorified egos of flyboys got in their way of identification procedures they were trained to perform; don't tell me that same shit about sailors.
