Quite simply ...
the world needs garbage collectors, waitresses and general shit kickers more than it needs any more leaders.
every person's place in this world is useful to me, even if for no other reason than I don't have to collect my own garbage.
IMHO anyone who takes care of things that bore me is automatically helping me and hopefully the things i do in return are as useful for someone else.
the 'dravyks' of the world are just as important as the 'serges', because if they didn't exist, the 'serges' would be very busy hunting for food
