lets be honest here.

"I have a couple of ideas that are unique and new and could be builit into the $100 million to billion+ range"

you are talking about selling ideas. not plans.

Plans dont create revenue. Plans dont create businesses. Plans dont create business growth. Though necessary, they are just loose road maps and guesses built on a succession of assumptions.

Venture Capitalists dont invest in "plans". They invest in people. They invest their perception of a persons ability to bring that plan to fluition, execute it well, adapt to and overcome every obstacle in his/her path that may present itself.

Planning is one organizational factor of many that factors into the total success of any business.

Your logic seems to assume that Windows would be equally successful if Bill Gates would have merely sold his "plan" to Forest. Thats absurd.

Motivation, determination, intelligence, drive, leadership, management skills, organizational skills, business skills, marketing skills, recruitment skills, the ability to understand and predict market trends/changes, future growth potential etc etc etc. i could list 1000 things that are important factors in building a successful company that have nothing to do with a "plan"

a "plan" is worth zero in my opinion. an "idea" that can be proven, is another thing entirely.
