maybe ... i read both ... if not, JR is an idiot for underestimating the value of networking & connecting people.
I was approached by a potential client a few months ago with a pretty cool online mainstream product, i gave them a proposal, 3 month marketing and development plan .... and my fee. He returned with an insulting counter offer, i declined, 4 months later he still hasn't got a billing solution for his product, something which any one of us could do with our eyes closed.
it doesn't matter how many awesome designers and programmers he has on his staff, because he is still looking for a billing solution 4 months later ... i kinda feel bad that i could fix it with just a few links in an email, but that's what he gets for underestimating the value of networking.
