Uh, no, actually I'm personally still waiting for info on when I signed up for GWW (per GA - apparently the info you gave me here as to where you got my email address was incorrect) and opted in to any mailing list.
As I said on ARS, your TOS on at least one of your "resources" stated that by signing up, you'll be sent a monthly newsletter with instructions on how to unsubscribe. I don't get a monthly newsletter from you, so either I've never signed up, or I've unsubscribed. Either way, I NEVER opted in to get email from you nor was I EVER given the opportunity to opt out, INCLUDING the spam I was sent yesterday.
"no harm done" is subjective. Judging by these posts and the ones on ARS, it seems like you've done at least some harm to your reputation.
