I don't like spam any more than the next person, but why would you make it harder to be removed?
We have a "no call" list here in GA for telemarketers. I could have not signed up and just fought with every telemarketer that called me, but it's a whole lot easier to slowly be removed from all the legitimate lists. That's pretty much what you're doing by making it easier to be removed. If you don't, the lists just get resold, don't they?
