Some of us actually have the intellectual capacity to understand that the troops are carrying out their DUTY, and as such we can fully support THEM, even though we might disagree with the dickhead giving the orders, and his reasons for doing so.
I see no conflict whatsoever in opposing the way this was done, and the reasoning behind it, while still hoping and praying that the military personnel carrying out their orders will come home quickly and ALIVE. My argument is not with the people in the line of fire, it's with the ones who are safely ensconced several thousand miles away whose reasons and justification remain suspect in my own mind.
And I'm not altogether sure I'm a "Liberal" as most people seem to define it. Unless of course that definition is, "someone who doesn't agree with Buff."

Rox, Rox, Rox ... there you go thinking the world is not black and white. You are trying to bring in shades of gray, and that's just too complicated for some folks.
I happen to support the war - I think Saddam was as likely to disarm peacefully as Hitler was to sit and spin on Neville Chamberlain's umbrella. That doesn't mean I'm pleased that the current Administration failed in the foreign policy objective of getting the world on board.
The simple fact is there are just as many morons who support the war as there are who oppose it.
