nobody on this board could possibly have assumed you were anything criminal from the comments jr made, but you are giving reason for OTHER opinions to form and they aint real positive either!!
jr's comment was in bad taste, but it certainly wasn't presented as fact ("if i were to make a tshirt that said ****") this comment was to prove that free speech shouldn't be unconditional. alex, this was YOUR point in the first place!!!
you can't willingly partake in a controversial discussion only to back down when your point is proven wrong, and turn to a 'i'm getting my lawyer involved' defence. that's exactly what this looks like and whether you feel you are defending yourself justly or not, your making yourself look really really stupid along the way.
