My son is left handed, but even though it's supposedly inherited, no one on either side of the family for 5-6 generations is left handed.
However, while he writes and eats with his left hand, he bats and golfs right. He throws with his left, but plays right handed in hockey.
He's also left footed - something we found out when he started playing soccer
