I know this is going to sound strange but it is nice to see so many 'normal' looking folks (and women) there.
Being part of the BBW portion of women I have always wondered exactly how comfortable I would feel going to the shows. Not because I have any hangups about my looks (I don't) or I feel it effects my professionalism (nope, again) but just because sometimes working in a a biz surrounded by manufactured beauty, you worry about being taken seriously, being pushed to the side or getting adverse reactions..
Yup, that was strange thing to say but hope someone followed.
