Hmm I think there are vast differences here:
1. Clinton - gets caught shagging an intern - threatening our country with - pregnancy and spilled semen
2. Lott - praises well known segregationist - threatening our country with increased racial antagonism at a time when that's the last thing we need
The main difference too is that most party people as well as most country stuck to Clinton as I remember while this administration was clearly prepared to chop its nose to save face
