don't you think it's a bit late getting into this game now?
no.
Will Penthouse/Playboy become market leaders in the adult web space? Doubt it.
But compared to ARS/MaxCash/CE et al, they probably have more runway in front of them because they have done so poorly on the adult internet.
I think the example is Hustler. I bet Huslter.com makes more money with Ken and a focus on the web site as a profit center, than it did without a program. so should you start a program in 2002 or 2003, so late? sure dude.
Penthouse is leaving money on the table still. Take it.

well,
RB's of this world made their fortunes because they didn't have to call board meeting to pay $100,000 for traffic ON the spot when situation warranted it...
Hard to achieve the same speed with corporate mastodonts...
as for
"Penthouse is leaving money on the table still. Take it."
where do I send my invoice?
;-))))
as for Flynt and Ken..
let's face it,
lets give Larry Flynt the credot for recognizing Ken's talents and knowledge of the business and having him run with the ball EARLY in the game,
Playboy today also went Flynt's route and got Lensman to promote their product.
Penthouse should go the same route,
there are plenty of good people out there who know what they are doing and might be interested in this kind of arrangement.
Jordan, MarcDe, Mr. Cash, Dean
were the first names popped in my head...
