I liked AO when it first came out, despite the bugs, and the graphics were absolutely stunning. Neocron I found repetitive, the people abrasive, and the gameplay just as limited as AO 'questing' but without any nice vistas.
But if it's better now let me know, I gave up on E&B also. I haven't even beaten Hitman 2 yet and it was probably the most anticipated video game in my lifetime (for me.)
Damn my attention span. It keeps reverting me back to money.

Well as I said, Cal - I'd only monkeyed with the offline demo - hadn't encountered the servers - and if you found the players abrasive you have to remember it got its intial release in Germany and England!
I wonder how cheap EQ is selling for now...
