I played SO much Doom and Duke and Hexen and Blood and ROT back in the mid 90's - I mean literally HUNDREDS of hours.... A buddy of mine owned a comic book shop that I lived behind... We setup a LAN and charged kids by the hour to play... Since I was their Network Technician I played for free - Old school lan parties back in the day! We got so good at Doom we had to change the configs to make it harder for us to play!
Ah, those were the days!
