Another sponsor "leak"
The latest leaks... "like us on..." buttons popping up on tours. Another way to get people to do something without paying affiliates. Does it ever end?

Re: Another sponsor "leak"
the like us....follow us will never go away. It is the reality of running a website today. With google failing, it is the way we get traffic....and everyone both porn and mainstream does it. The world is not perfect and this is a pretty minor "leak". It won't sink the ship.
Remember, the sites you promote need to stay in business or you will have nothing to promote. And also...look at the number of affiliates that promote tube sites that steal our content. Some of them are the same guys that sell our content as affiliates. Does it ever end? |

Two wrong don't make a right, but two Wrights made an airplane.

Re: Another sponsor "leak"
Social media links on tours are becoming much more common. If they only appear on the main page then I try to link directly to another page, one that lists recent updates is usually my first choice. I'll often do that even if there are no leaks on the main landing page.
Bottom line, it still comes down to how it converts compared to other sites. I adjust my level of promotion accordingly. |

I need traffic and I am as honest and ethical a sponsor as you will ever work with. Social media traffic is important. Hell, I have to put up with my own affiliates stealing my traffic. This is facebook thing is pretty minor. As far as the rights and wrongs go....is it better to be honourable and broke....or earning a living and still producing good content that you can sell? Otherwise you will be left with Man Win. |

Actually, they appear to be one of the bigger players. I also recently caught OCCash with 10 links per tour to Rabbit's reviews, I guess another way to launder traffic. I think that having the social media aspect is good, but there is a point where it becomes negative, to the point where it starts to look better for me to essentially host my own tour and only send to join pages, just to avoid the endless leaks. A little leak here, a little leak there... and suddenly that boat don't float anymore. It seems more and more that sites aren't about actually selling anything, but rather in corralling traffic to sell to others, of course without paying me for it. The affiliate system is quickly breaking down. |
