All depends on how they are set up. There is a difference between being deceptive and surfers being too damn lazy to know what they are signing up for.

You go online to pizza hut.
order a pizza
as you checkout a coupon offer pops up for $10 off.
[and his offer HAMMERS you after youve made your order ]
you accept the offer
and pizza hut sends your credit card information [ala Deecash] no mention anywhere about a club or a charge... only your redeeming a coupon.
and you find out next month that you have a recurring $20 a month charge for a "membership club" . . . would you be happy?

I would be very upset about that... not just about the getting ripped off part... but the fact that I'd lowered myself to order PIZZA HUT :(
