what type of programmer would I need for this?

MY 2257 spider is acting funky and I would like something more exact. The company that made it is long gone. What type of programmer would I need to create a spider, that I can send to my sites. So it can gather urls by model name or by production date? That's how I label my files. How much do you think something like that would cost ?

Not sure about cost, but it would take about 2 weeks to write.

If it is to just go against your sites and you use a common naming convention then it is pretty easy to do.

Depending on how fancy of a backend you want of course.

Wouldn't want to throw an actual quote out there without more detail but just the raw spider - fine tuned I would guess could be done inside of 5 hours or so.

I have some base code that would probably work pretty well or of course I could look at what you have and see what it would take to upgrade it.

And yeah HP, probably about two weeks ;p

Simple and works that's my only wish. lol The current one creates text files which is what we want to then put them in files. We work on a paper system.

Thank you so much for doing a great, quick job. She was really freaking about it so you saved me lots of emotional pain. I may have someone else who would be interested in your services. Thank you very much.
