LA in October?

not sure if i can post non business topics in this section, if not please move :whistling

i have a question for those of you who live in the states, i'm visiting next year probably around october time, los angeles, wondering what the average temp and rainfall is like there at that time of year?

i've looked at various charts on web and, considering i'm coming from scotland, the temps look not bad. best time to avoid rainfall seems to be june - september with it starting to increase again around october :( however i can't be that flexible with my dates so it'll probably have to be october.

if i'm there for 10 days or so am i guaranteed mostly good weather?

10 days in October in LA you should be fine for weather. It'll still probably be warmer than what you are used to tho.

thanks guys, just wanted to get some feedback from humans as oppose to charts. according to what i can find out, uk in october averages 11c and 3.3 inches of rainfall, wheras LA is 16c minimum up to 26c with 0.3 inches of rainfall (10 times less than UK) so at least i know things will be better than home :)

Hard to beat the weather in LA in October unless you want to come to Florida.
