I need some cheap virtual hosting, whose got someone they like? And what they do the cost. And no I'm not going to get a box until I actually need it.

See, here's my plan. It's 9:49 on a Saturday night. I'm starting at the top and excluding the spammers. Whoever is the first to get back to me gets my business. Figure if they can't make money taking a new client on the weekends I'm worried they can deal with a problem that happens on the weekend. Let's see who is always available.

Good luck with that. I am sure you will get replies but it is just as likely that they will be from the spammers/scammers. On the weekend, perhaps more so.

The basic logic behind your test here is somewhat flawed because the tech support guys that handle the problems on the weekends do not post on the boards for the most part and many of the sales guys (which is who you need up front) don't work on the weekends.

So, just because a sales guy hits you up on the weekend is absolutely no indication of what the tech support is like.

TM, have you tried working a trade with someone? Ya know, you trade your blog writing for some web space?

Some of the people you are writing for probably have some pretty high end servers they're on and they have control of their entire box so you you don't have to worry about some idiot script kiddy taking down the box your virtual server is on because they wrote and endless loop or two (happens to the best of us).

Might be a thought.

I forgot to add that I wasn't talking about responding to my message, what I had done is call each company. Sure most people's sales departments aren't going to be open on the weekends, but I've always had a theory about business, never make people wait to take their money.

I would take you up on that Jace and I was going to get one blog up but I haven't bought the domain yet and won't do that until likely tomorrow. Further the numerous times I've tried to contact you via ICQ regarding several things I've had no luck.

I talk to 10-20 people a day on icq without issues

That definitely sounds cool and I'd certainly be down for that, four posts a week ain't no thing. But I heard some rumor that you just love spinnin' like top 40's dance and trance... sometimes even (gulp) NRG. I just don't think I can roll with anyone like that. Don't get me wrong, I like some old school girlie freestyle from time to time, but it's got to be all about some straight up evil, dirty ass breaks. Like some old school Jackal and Hyde shit, that evil nasty shit. :)

I've had to deal with some serious crazy personal stuff (someone close to me wrecked on a bike) the last few days and have been real busy going to the hospital and stuff.
