SEXBOT.COM name for sale on Sedo
 

A long time ago (1996 to be exact) we registered SEXBOT.COM with the intent to set up an adult search engine site that looked like hotbot.com (remember them?). well, as things played out, we never got to it. The name sat unused until we parked it at Sedo this January. Duh, we should have at least done that from the get-go.

Sexbot.com is short, easy to spell, easy to remember, easy to say and is therefore great for "mental bookmarking" where the user remembers the name without running the risk of the wife/boss/kids seeing the bookmark on the browser. It's also good for verbal referrals. No one has to ask "how do you spell that?" Plus, it's a .COM

Sexbot.com can be descriptive of a search engine, a cybersex site, a high end adult toy store, or some high-tech sex toy (a better vibrator:yowsa: ).


Anyway, it's time to let this one go. We have an offer of $11,000 USD and Sedo has confirmed that the buyer has a long history of buying and selling without any bad deals, so it's a legit offer. The name is up for auction for the next couple of days, then the highest bidder gets it.
