Friend needs help (program owners take a look please)

I'm not big on posting about people who could use a hand, but in this case I will make an exception. first a little story...

Starting in mid December I was going around looking for up-sell opportunities that I could add into our members areas for all the Royal Cash sites. Pretty much your standard added content and income that would allow us to move our program up a notch from Rev Share only to rev share plus PPS.

I checked out a lot of companies and one of which was, of course, AEBN. I had a lot of confidence in AEBN because... well shit, they're AEBN for crying out loud. Any way, i contacted them about a long inactive account our company had over there and that I was interested in blah blah blah

it was the holidays, I lacked both time and enthusiasm at this point. But then I started getting contacted by a rep from AEBN. This guy did not appear to lack either the time or the enthusiasm necessary to get these things added to our sites. It seemed as though I couldn't go on line on ICQ without him there offering me any assistance I might need to make it happen.

I am sure it wasn't every time I became available, but it felt like it and remember, this was the holidays and we had just launched an advertising campaign so i really was busy.

Before I knew it this guy (nick JBreaz) had created a customized promo page and a customized theater for every single site we had in our network.... he even created one for a site I had told him about but that wasn't live yet. OK, I forwarded all this great promotional stuff along to the people in my company who took care of the actual 'adding things to the sites' work.

they to were busy as hell and it sort of got put to the side. So JBreaz did the follow up, he kept after me asking if we had added the promo material to the sites, this prompted me to inquire to 'the guys' and now we are going to be redesigning some of the areas of our sites to better showcase the tools he created for us.

Royal Cash is a good site and a great company but in the grand scheme of things we aren't much special to the likes of AEBN. I am sure they have people/companies driving hundreds of thousands of dollars in business to their sites each and every week and we are not one of them. The best we can hope for is a few hundred.

The point is JBreaz certainly made us feel special and he represented AEBN in a top notch high quality way and it has been my pleasure to work with him and even get to know him a bit.

Now for reasons I won't get into he is leaving AEBN to move out of state and I am sure that the folks over there will be sad to see him go. But the man could definitely use a good tele commute job and I know from personal experience that he will do a very good job for anyone fortunate enough to hire him.

If you or anyone you know could use a high caliber employee like this please leave your contact information in this thread and I will make sure he gets it. He doesn't know about this thread yet but since I got my current job while surfing Oprano, maybe it can work for him too.

sorry for the lengthy post

Sounds like the kind of guy that AEBN would want to keep around imho. How about it AEBN? Maybe time to reevaluate your employment policies and take a chance on a known commodity working from home rather than in the cube...er I mean office.

Some companies do not like people to telecommute, but based on my experience, people who work from home tend to work hard and work longer hours. They can be a wise choice

Maybe Bishop would like to shed some light on why AEBN works this way?
But I seriously doubt it :hmm:

I think with some companies if they cant see you ,they assume your not working. My old boss used to call it a foundry attitude. I think that some people at home will work harder than if they were in the office because work is always there but some will fuckoff more. Its really no different then in the office itself, some work hard some will fuck off.
