They just dropped his holocaust project at one of the studios. So that's the first backlash. He's obviously in need of serious help across the board and it's not the first time. This shit has gone on a very long time. He's tried to fight it and it finally came to a bad end. Hopefully he'll get the help he needs and his family won't have to suffer. I feel bad for his kids who have to suffer through an alcoholic parent. That's such a horrid experience.

I guarantee you he gives a shit. He's a very controling man, both of himself and his family. He also has some very strict and rather antiquated morals, so this is quite out of character and going to be hard for a man with a type A personality to deal with.

Did he have a choice but to go into rehab? When he goes to court, his lawyer can how what a good little boy he was to complete a program and brag how he's on the road to recovery.

His publicists are working overtime to try to save his images with his apologies, and I'm glad they didn't have him deny what he said.

I'd never watch anything he was in or support him, not that I ever did.

Sadly, I'd bet a lot of other actors feel the same way he does, they just haven't been quoted.

ok, i think Alec Baldwin is just about the biggest asshole that ever walked the planet... but if he is in a movie that looks to be entertaining and a good distraction then i will watch it.. and enjoy it just the same.

I dont care if Mel Gibson whacks his meat to a lithograph of hitler in a tu-tu, if he makes a movie that looks like it is going to be good, i'll rent the damned DVD and give it a spin.

the focus on the political views of entertainers strikes me as a waste of time. The only one i care about their views is Arnold because he is in office

Hell yes he fucked up, he thought he could pull some diehard shit and flee on foot.. it just didnt work, lol. I couldnt stop laughing when i heard about it, (about him trying to flee, not driving drunk.. thats just fucked up). The guy has had enough chances as is, he shouldnt be driving.

being right doesnt make it smart... look at all the heat he is taking because of it... it's out of control
he could have been co-operative, been arrested, we all would have still heard about it but there wouldnt have been a weeks worth of coverage about the incident on the anal retentive public's TVs

people have a short memory. especially when its just gossip in nature. if the passion of the christ and him insisting that it be his own hands nailing jesus to the cross wasn't weird... then i think this incident will be quickly forgotten.
