Opranauts, what are you thankful for ?

Me.. Nothing.

Everything I have I got on my own, no help from anyone or anything, so if I had to thank someone, I would be thanking me....

The rest of you should be thankful that I exist and that I bestow the honor of my presence amongst you on a daily basis.

I am thankful that we still have letters in Greek alphabet to name new hurricanes popping like mushrooms this year.

I'm thankful I have an amazing wife and son whom I would do anything for.

Re: Opranauts, what are you thankful for ?

The list of things for which I am thankful is actually too long to list. First and foremost, I'm thankful for my husband, always. I'm thankful for my daughters, also always. I'm thankful for my cats and my tiny dog.

Part of every Thanksgiving was the "listing thanks." When we sat down over dinner and began to list, we always felt like the wealthiest people in the world.

My daughters are probably also very thankful this Thanksgiving that they're having a big dinner in their own apartment and don't have to hear Mommy's annual "what the whites *really* did to the Indians" speech.

Re: Opranauts, what are you thankful for ?

I never see anything I want in the holiday commercials from jewelers. In fact, my husband and I have a ritual. I'll watch the commercial and say "you don't have to buy me that for Christmas."

Well...his luck ran out this year. :)

I'm thankful for that...and even more thankful that it's available online. Not making him go to the mall will mean I'll actually get the thing. :clapping:

In all sincerity....

(before I go offline for the day)

Can I wish you all a peaceful and joyful Thanksgiving , All snideness aside , I give thanks for my fantastic family [except the hated brother Technick...who is still not forgiven for being born on Xmass day and thus ruining Xmass that year http://oprano.com/msgboard/images/smilies/smile.gif ] and for all my friends both old and new. And hope you , as I do , look forward to the new year with optimism and happy anticapation of the great challenges and obstacles sure to come and just as surely to be surmounted leaving that smug satisfaction of accomplishment

;-)

(copied from another thread , so I'm also very thankful for C&P , it helped me build a internet empire as well LOL)

Just took a look at Funny Ass Jokes, I'm at 1024 x 768 and I've got to scroll sideways, change you're screen res and look at Oprano, no matter what res it always fits without side scroll ;)

But after the gloating: It's the google ads that are fucking it up, try moving them into the header. :)

I like the site though and good luck with it :okthumb:

Thanks Trev - That site needs a SERIOUS Revamp on the graphics side of thing, but do a view source man... That's with me CLEANING it up! The designer used so many tables I can't make heads from tails lol ...

One of these days once it reaches 3-400 uniques a day I will go ahead and redesign ;) Think it has about 60 or so uniques a day right now..

Right now I am glad that Thanksgiving is only once a year, and that almost nobody that was at my house today will expect or desire to return any time soon.

I'm thankful no one is voting for you to shut the fuck up, too. :)

If you actually *did* shut the fuck up, I would no longer be able to tell you to do so and a big part of my day would be lost. :)
