Indian Rhapsody

This was sent to me this morning and it pays homage to all those who appreciate curry ;)

Naan, just killed a man
poppadom against his head
Had lime pickle now he's dead.
Naan, dinner's just begun
But now I'm gonna throw it all away.
Naan, ooh, ooh ooh oooooooh
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back from the loo by this time tomorrow
Curry on, curry on
Cause nothing really Madras.
Too late, my dinner's gone
Sends shivers down my spine
Bottom aching all the time
Goodbye onion bhaji, I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and use the loo.
Naan, ooh, ooh ooh ooooh
This korma is so mild
I sometimes wish we'd never come here at all.

[guitar solo]

I see a little chicken tikka on the side
Rogan Josh, Rogan Josh, pass the chutney made of mango
Vindaloo does nicely Very very spicy
Meat!
Byriani (Byriani)
Byriani (Byriani)
Byriani and a naan
A vindaloo loo loo loo
I've eaten balti, somebody help me
He's eaten balti, get him to the lavatory
Stand you well back
'Case the loo is quarantined...
Here it comes
There it goes
Technicolor yawn
I chunder
No!
It's coming up again
There he goes
I chunder, it's coming back again
There he goes
Coming back again
up again
Here it comes again.

(No no no no no no NO)

On my knees, I'm on my knees
On his knees, Oh, there he goes
This vindaloo
Is about to wreck my guts
Poor meee.. poor meeee...poor MEEEEEE!

[guitar solo]

So you think you can chunder and then feel alright?
So you try to eat curry and drink beer all night?
Ooooooh maybe, but now you'll puke like a baby
Just had to come out
It just had to come right out in here.

[guitar solo]

[slow bit]

Korma or dupiaza
bhaji, naan or saag
Nothing makes a difference
Nothing makes a difference
To meee....
Any way the wind blows....shshshsh

Bastard, you're making me want a curry,
and the only Indian in this place isn't very good.
I'm going to have to go to the hellish scum that is Benidorm.

Sadly they are not a patch on the ones in Brick Lane .. the ones where they do the wraps of tikka in naan bread .. or that little one on the corner that drizzels this thin sweet syrup on the peshwari nans ;)

Mate get your self to the big shops, fuck el corte englais, they only have shit chicken .. Whats the big shopping place with the little bird on it .. in marbella its La Canada .. halal chicken breasts as those taste the best there, some pataks tikka sauce, block of coconut or coconut milk, pompadoms, onions, garlic, chilli and some nan ;) couple of beers and sorted ..

Mmmm. Brick Lane curries, I used to go there sometimes for lunch, then come back to the office and breathe over everyone.

I can get most of the spices and make my own here, but I cant find fresh curry leaves.. and however good it tastes you can tell it wasn't cooked by
an Indian.

Marks n Spencers do a lovely Indian platter, but the fuckers closed down in Europe. So no more porkpies, chicken Kievs and curry.

If you get a nice client base, would do well. People will pay.
Start with Christmas puddings this year, a high cost item so postage wont kill the costings.

I looked into exporting hams and chorizo from here, shipping was scary..
A ham weighs 7 kilos.

Don't encourage her, it'll mean hours and hours of boxing stuff up for me. She'll cover the shopping part but the rest will get left down to muggins here. :(

That was very funny.

One of these days I'm going to find a good Indian restaurant and broaden my horizons. I've had very little Indian food, but I've loved it so far.
