Reads, posts, and actually talk to people on the boards, real life, etc. I saw Rick at the show, all due respect, he looked like a fish in the wrong pond. He didn't seem to know anyone, and sure as fuck, not many people knew him. Sure, Old school showed respect, I know I did when he came to our Cabana, but not many knew, or cared who he was or what he was pushing, imho.

Aly does all the things that Rick can't be bothered. She's nice to everyone, has people around her all the time, she is really quite down to earth, and a lovely person. I'm not saying the because I got to know her really well a few years back, but that it's the truth.

How many people do you know have their Co-Birthday listed on Fubarwebmasters, and had a shitload of webmasters show up too?

Rick did well bringing Aly onboard, she's an all in one marketing person.

Case in point...

Look at how we are talking about her now, and have gone 2 pages worth of posts about her, and Rick's new thang. :)

There is no doubt he could use a good marketing person.... Is Aly the person for the job? Time will tell.

Sometime being overexposed, and too well known can work against a project. I would have recomended for Rick to look OUTSIDE the industry.

I bumped into Aly in the elevator in Miami. Extraordinarily nice, considering I was hating on the whole $300 mandatory pass thing which actually turned out surprisingly well. TheBestPorn also has some great traffic, will be interesting to see what they can accomplish together.
