So for all the mega webmasters out there what advice/tips/encouragment do you have for us newbies just starting out?

Anything we should make sure to do? Anything we should make sure not to do?

I guess one way is to accept criticism, get more connections and just work and work.

I'm not a mega webmaster either, but one thing I learned early on is that I never made a dime racking up a high post count on a BBS.

I am not a mega webmaster either, but I disagree with not magewebmaster PornDoggy.
When your name is in everybody's faces, it's much easier to exchange links, traffic, etc.

Anybody wants to exchange links?

For the record - I'm no more snarky today than on any other day.

Oh, I've won all kinds of fine schtuff from boards, including a handy $100 just last Friday.

Serge is right - a board presence can be very beneficial.

I am also right - you can go way beyond establishing a board presence and just flat-out waste time.

If they wanna learn , post , take the knocks.

They will learn a lot more this way than being spoon fed.
