Re: So Long Little Buddy

Not being callous ... but I keep thinking there must be a "three hour tour" joke in there somewhere.

Re: So Long Little Buddy

I just finished reading an article about Bob Denver's death. :(

Was the show inane?
Yes.

Did it touch countless people and make them laugh?
Also yes.

Re: So Long Little Buddy

Tis a sad, sad day. :( RIP Mr Denver!

Re: So Long Little Buddy

I liked him as Maynard G. Krebs too!!

... for those of you really old enough to remember.

Re: So Long Little Buddy

Heard of him..never saw an episode , don't think it was shown in the UK

Re: So Long Little Buddy

I've never seen or heard of him. :(

Re: So Long Little Buddy

I loved Maynard, more so than Gilligan. And yes,*sigh* I am really old enough to remember.

Re: So Long Little Buddy

Gilligan's Island is one of those shows that I've seen every episode several times, yet if I'm channel surfing and it comes on, I drop the remote and watch......

I also remember Maynard G. Krebs...mainly from when Nick At Nite first rolled out..

"work" ahhhhhhhhh ;)

Re: So Long Little Buddy

RIP .. never saw the show either, heard it was quite the institution in the US though ..

Re: So Long Little Buddy

Fuck, I wanted to BE Maynard G. Krebs when I grew up. :(

Re: So Long Little Buddy

I thought you were! :biglaugh:

Re: So Long Little Buddy

yet again ESP... lol

Re: So Long Little Buddy

I can help you get the flavor of the show....

Start referring to Honest Anthony as "little buddy" and everytime he fucks up, hit him over the head with your hat.
