But you'd think that noobs would be given the discounts if anyone, not someone who has a method of making money already, at least, thats what i would think.

I have a bad feeling that the gullible noobs are going to be nowhere to be seen at the upcoming show, thankfully Gary and I are only coming dow for 24 hours to take some friends out for dinner so wont have to set foot inside the hotel itself :)

Tickets are indeed $300. However, people with booths can buy additonal passes for $150.

:agrin:

Nah sell them off at $200 a peice, thats still a $100 saving for the buyer and, you get to recoup a nice $50 profit per ticket sold too :)

Once upon a time at a place call Comdex the exhibitors paid for booth space and were given tix to give away to their clients.

Makes a lot of sense to this day.

I remember the early days of Comdex making up a fake company to get free passes to the show :)

And like a vulture I'll sit here and pic over the remains...

:)

hmmmm....

I was thinking...if I was someone like say Python , or AEBN ( ie REAL players in this business) I'd be tempted to say ""fuck it! lets hold our own show. Discount the hotel rooms , fly in certain people (cough..ok I'd drive , hate flying) ....""

Just a thought...

moronic though it maybe...

Hey... the discount pass is something arranged by us as a way to make it possible for newbie amateurs to be able to afford the show with help from homegrown video.

Due to abuse of our generousity in the past we do have to screen the applicants as this is a very special arrangement.

AVN/Internext are always willing to work with people and they are entirely pleasant to deal with. If anyone has a problem with the discount then their issue is really with us and not with Internext though.

btw...We have some fun plans for the show in Florida which I will start jumping up and down about here in a day or two.
