As one of Oprano's resident experts on dating younger women (and WTF is the bit about not half your age, damn it)

Throw the first guy out because he is really not good with math no matter what he says. If he took the time to think about it he'd realize his point would be true about the male population as well.

Also all the people responding (or at least the responses chosen) either have their balls in their girl's hands or just aren't telling the entire truth

Obviously part of the attraction of dating younger women is physical, and not just in winkle/sag department. The stamina and being in better physical (in some cases) helps too

The coming with less baggage (unless a total headcase) is very attractive too

Of course most women my age wouldn't put up with my nonsense either

I'm Peter Pan. Never going to grow up and a much younger women fits well with that. If I do get old I figure between my son and fiancée they can push me around and change my depends ah ha ha ha

One thing is we don't get the stereotypical "dirty looks" from women around my age so maybe the stigma is fading away

Bottom line, if it feels good and makes both partners happy - go for it!

Trev 05-28-2005 07:51 AM

I'd take a woman half my age... she would only just be legal but I'd take it :yowsa:

I could imagine the looks I'd get now though

Peaches 05-28-2005 10:18 AM

Damn, I'm going to have to start hanging around the retirement communities so I can be a "younger woman". :(

sarettah 05-28-2005 10:39 AM

I'm not reading the link because the question is almost as dumb as "Why do prisoners want to get out of prison?" :yowsa:

Nickatilynx 05-28-2005 11:05 AM

The age-defying principle
"When a guy reaches a certain age, he worries he sees his youth and vitality wane. A younger woman reaffirms for me that I’ve still got it going on."
—Mike, 40, Orlando, FL

of course it does.....

Absolutely, and that's regardless of which is the older partner.

The older man relationship is much more accepted. My fiance is 16 years younger than I am and the reactions to an older woman relationship is much different. Whereas you get the dirty looks I get surprise and "you go girl." :D

Time for sophie tucker jokes:

Ernie: Soph, today is my 100th birthday so to celebrate I am marrying myself a 20 year old woman, what do you think of that ?

Sophie: Ernie, that is all well and good. When I am 100 I shall marry myself a 20 year old man.

And let me tell you something Ernie.

20 goes into 100 a hell of a lot more times than 100 goes into 20....

JoesHO 05-30-2005 06:11 PM

I think exotic, sexy and atractive can take place at any age....

I dfo not believe age has as much to do with it as the way a woman can carry herself.

I mean if she treats her body like shit it does not matter if she is 20, and someone that does yoga eats right and takes good care of their skin at 40 can be way more atractive .

I treat my body like shit AND I'm over 40 - I'm DOOMED. :headwall:

grimm 05-30-2005 07:33 PM

Think like a baseball team... you need a third baseman. You could either

a) sign a journeyman, whos been through stretches with 9 or ten ball clubs, possibly in both leagues, and is looking for a last shot at the real deal..

B) a hot young prospect from the minors. been with the organization from the start, two years. not a lot of bad experience in the pros to shake his confidence. tremendous upside potential, could be a hit in the majors, or fill in a nice position spot for an injured star. either way you got him for 3 years on a minor legue contract, so even if you have to cut bait, you arent that hurt.

Agreed that the most important thing is how a woman carries herself

Catch her at 20 and you can have a lot of influence on that

But then if she turns out totally screwed up it's your fault

I LOVE breakfast! Just not when I have to wake up at 5:30AM for a 7:30AM breakfast :P If I'm staying over and you're making it for me, I can roll out of bed just minutes before I put the fork to my mouth. That's a good thing. :rokk:

Just look up "wallpaper paste" and you'll find it.

Oh, and Trev, if she had greasy Mexican last night, you may not want her to stay over, if you know what I mean. You may end up finding out about what us Americans call a "Dutch oven."
