I was sitting here tonight surfing around after I lost the poker tourney <sigh> :)

Anyways a random thought popped into my head... I expanded on it, and I swear to god it has the potential to become the next big thing to hit the adult net. This isn't an overstatement by any means and will help many companies maximize their revenue, and may even make some companies who were losing money become profitable. It is going to take me some time to perfect all the details as there are literally 100's of ways this idea could be handled and I'm not sure about the programming that is required for it to run properly... BUT - It will be huge if it takes off, and I would only need a small amount of support from the community (being very vague here) for it to go through it's launch phase. After that, I know it will go well with the surfers and the webmasters and it will take off like wild fire!

I'm pumped, haven't thought of anything original that I didn't have doubts about whether it would work or not in a longgg time. In fact I would say this is the best idea I have ever come up with.

Stay tuned everyone, some time in the next month (could be a few days could be a few weeks) I will be asking to talk to some people who are willing to sign full NDA's prior to discussing it... A few of the people I will be going to first will be people who are a part of the Oprano community of course ;)

Kind of a vague post, and no I'm not high or drunk lol .. But I am reallly pumped about this baby. There are 2 concerns I have to figure out how to handle from there it is a cake walk. Regardless I am sure it will be done eventually and I can guarantee it hasn't been tried, hasn't been talked about ever as far as I know... Something similar was done a couple years back that dissapeared but they came at it from the wrong angle.. The exact opposite.. Had they reverses their thinking they would be in the caribbeans soaking up sun and drinking pina coladas :)

The amount of programming behind it alone is rather troublesome... But I'm not even looking at it that way, looking at it as that idea I would of said "I thought of that a few months/years ago" if I don't act on it now .. B)

My biggest concern is getting the cavalry together, in other words participation. I think if I was offered it as a person in the market it was being pitched to I would have some concerns and would more likely than not want some proof that the idea was in fact working... Not only working but would increase profit margins more than the current system (there is something that resembles it I am improving) increase profit margins being run as it is. So I will need to run a small test campaign with some smaller sites and networks before running it by the bigger companies.

Hopefully all goes well and we see at least a 33% increase in lost revenues over what the old system was providing.. this would lead to a 100% win/win situation for everyone inolved and the largest networks on the web would hop right on board given that proof.... They would have no reason not to :)

In a business where profit margins are so slim and everything is so competitive if you can bump your profit margins up by 3-5% even it can make a gigantic difference :)

Going to start talking to some people about the idea today... :D

Why dont these tours that rely on movie clips 'screengrabs' for their content link directly to the movie inside their members area?

Id figure they would all be screaming 'buy this movie on DVD' with a direct links to the DVD feature page on Movie Mountain.

If they aren't interested in paying $2.95 for a trial to see the movie that second they pry won't fork out $40 for the movie to be sent to their house ;)

.htaccess issues would be the reason why no direct linking.. They could have a seperate subdomain and use httpd rewrite's allowing access from the tour url if they really wanted to but it would more of a hassle then....
