theres one thing though, i did the same thing for the cincinnati reds stadium, and the image available was that of the GABP when it was being built next to Cynergy field, a few years back. those images are not up to date by any means.

and realistically, with the amount of planning, and the base nature of terrorist attacks ( ie flying planes into the worlds tallest buildings, or a suicide bombinb, or whatnot), an overhead satellite image wouldnt necessarily be an important tool. the goal of terror is fear, not tremendous devastation. there will be no b-52's dropping bombs on our stadiums, fear the guy sneaking smallbox in in a thermos, and even those are banned at every stadium in the land:)

i mean in the last 3 years alone i have been nailed 5/8 times trying to sneak a FLASK into a sporting event, and i go to a lot of sporting events.

If the US gov't thought it was a problem, Google would not have launched the service.

Note that 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington, DC 20006's roof is blanked out.

There are other significant buildings that have the same treatment. There are other areas that curiously seem to have blocks of pictures missing that are not touristy areas.

http://www.terraserver.com will actually sell you images down to .16 meter resolution.
