6.8 is just above an aftershock...Its still very dangerous..It's still an earthquake!!

People in Indonesa live in fear everyday!

My heart goes out to them. :(

I think global warming is causing all this shit. Here in the states we have been bombarded with hail storms, some of the hail as big as softballs.

mmax 04-11-2005 05:14 PM

It is another terrible thing to happen to them :cryin:

I totally agree on the global warming shit… We haven’t really had a winter here in the UK this year.

JoesHO 04-11-2005 05:25 PM

No doubt, you think the bugs got it bad, what about the people there .

kath 04-11-2005 05:49 PM

6.8 is still one heck of an aftershock - damn!

Hong Kong seismologists registered a 6.0-magnitude aftershock at 1730 GMT Sunday, Sunday's undersea 6.8-magnitude temblor smashed scores of windows in Padang, and was felt across a large swathe of Sumatra, which was devastated by the Dec. 26 earthquake and tsunami that at least 174,000 people in 11 countries and left another 50,000 missing.

Indonesia was the hardest hit, with at least 126,000 people killed and more than 500,000 left homeless, mostly in Aceh province on Sumatra.

The region has since been hit by daily aftershocks that regularly cause people to flee their homes.

On March 28, an 8.7-magnitude quake killed at least 647 people on Nias Island, which lies close to Padang
