I heard a priest of some sort saying something to the effect of "the Pope continues to teach us, he is showing us how to die with dignity." Whatever. This seems like the least dignified way to go -- spokespeople talking vaguely about how screwed up you are, thousands of people wailing outside your window, and every TV channel talking about your urinary tract infection. I'll take a quiet anonymous death, thank you.

It is supremely annoying isn't it?
