Based on what was put forward at the convention, Bush is looking to lower tax income by 1 triillion and spend another 2 trillion more. 3 trillion more debt for the US within 10 years. Then all you conservatives will blame the democrats when they come to power and have to raise taxes to pay for all of this. What's worse than a tax and spend liberal? A no tax but spend anyway conservative... because the bill gets bigger every day you don't pay for it. Alex |
This is why I do not like Bush.

It's not unlike what happens in Australia. The labour party is notorious for just throwing money at every problem and putting the country into debt. When the liberal party came into power, there was a 96 billion dollar deficit which is now a 25 billion dollar surplus. And where they should be commended for putting the country back in the black, they get crticised for fixing the problem's the labour party caused. Annoying. And half the population falls for it every time.

Yeah, pretty sad. Don't blame me, I didn't vote for him.

The part that really sucks is that the individual "special interest" groups that have been promised money from one side or the other will vote for that side, even if the overall effect is negative to everyone, including them.
The debt increase and the decrease in employment in the last 4 years is a tragedy that has been swept under the rug of war. I can only hope that more americans figure it out before the begining of November. Alex |

slav, you honestly think "liberals" (bad word, considering that in many ways, Bush appears to be MORE liberal than Kerry, so your attack is mis-directed!) are trying to hide or cover up 9/11?
That is a sad concept. Alex |
