I cut off the email for all but my main domain and it has cut my spams from 3K a day to 300 a day. YIPEE! BUT, I always want better :awinky:

I'm looking for something that's domain specific where they have to verify, i.e. peaches at onlinebeach dot com, webmaster at onlinebeach dot com, 123456 at onlinbeach dot com and every other bogus front the spammers can come up with. Does something like that exist? And can you put "good" incoming addresses in there for approved newsletters and such?

I think I'm going to have to use Spam Arrest for my 3 Mindspring addresses, so if anyone knows of something where I'm not paying 3 times, that would be welcome too :)

Again, I'm not looking for anything EXCEPT the email verification like Spam Arrest. My filtering takes care of the other crap. :)

Thanks!!!!!!

i'm not really sure of the pros and cons and features of either but this program is similar to spam arrest and is from the pennywize guys.

Thanks, cj. In looking over the documentation it won't block all my blahblahblah@mydomain.com email but I can try it with my 2 main ones, and then use the other 3 I get for my Mindspring accounts.

I'll give a review in a few days :awinky:

I just realized you can put in a referrer, so if you have one..... I'm more than happy to list it for you :)

I don't, but thanks anyway! ;-)

but i've msg'd steve with this thread so if you have any q's ... fire away!

1 thing about steve's software is that steve has all the same problems as us (multiple domains getting spammed etc) so his software is written based on that.

we are about to do this mass spam cleanup of our domains ... piece of advice for people ... NEVER set up contests, submissions etc with random email addresses and use catch all on the domain to receive them all

Peaches -

Check out the latest version of spamarrest that was just released.

I confirmewd with spamarrest you will be able to check multiple email accounts on multiple domains within the next 60 days...

Right now, you are able to check your catch-all email accounts with spamarrest just fine. I do it.

Right now the Spamwize lets me check 5 which is basically all I need EXCEPT....I get a lot of spam to made up addresses that are connected to my main domain. Since I get all emails sent to that domain, I get all the emails to made up addresses. I have a sneaky suspicion nothing's going to block all that............

Mail Washer Pro is the best multiaddress and multiserver one out there, Peaches.
