Ok, I have gone as far as I can with converting my Autorank Pro 4 to run on Windows Server. I appear to have everything configured correctly but I can't seem to get around htaccess. I would like to bypass it all together as I have another way of protecting the directory.
Does anyone know what I can do to get around this dilema?
Or does anyone know where I can find some instuction regarding this issue?
I would really appreciate the help.
Thanks

Reformat drive and install a real server OS like just about any flavor of *nix.

JMB no longer will support autorank pro on windows environment. I am a registered owner. And have checked.

But I did get it to workon my own, without any prior perl experience.

As far as Cleo's remarks, If you don't have anything constructive or helpful to contribute you should keep your comments to yourself. I didn't think this board was like GFY but you must be a regular over there.

Thanks all who looked and if anyone else in the future needs some help I would be happy to share my experience.

Actually not, I'm perfectly capable of being an asshole without needed to go to GFY to practice. :nyanya:

She's saying what 90% of anyone reading with any technical experience was thinking when they read your subject line....

You're trying to force a square peg into a round hole. If you'll let us know exactly what it is you're trying to do and why it's on Windows instead of a Unix based platform, we might be able to suggest a solution.
