I thought they flushed all of the polygamysts out of Utah....

I guess this is where I only mumble in a low voice about being related to most of Utah (but not in the sense of this guy

I have zero problems with polygamy as long as it's between consenting adults. WTF do I care if some guy gets to bang multiple women and they don't mind?

I mean how many epople here, while not necessarily something they would do in their own life, have no problems with couples that engage in swinger activities?

I mean, I find it incredibly funny and ironic that people on the right who constantly bitch and whine about their religious freedom being restricted are people who support actions like the US government blackmailing Utah to outlaw polygamy to be granted statehood.

Therein lies the problem. From the examples I've seen, many of these "wives" aren't adults. :(

IMHO, had they not crossed that line a long time ago (and continued to do so), polygamy probably would have been more accepted by the mainstream.

Ahh, well that's different. 18 plus though and I have no problems with it at all. Not my thing but if it's someone else's religious belief, and they are all consenting adults, then who am I to say no?

Of course, I agree about the age thing...
