Crash Video

VooMan 11-13-2003 12:17 PM

That was pretty cool. I especially liked the Russian Metal background music. haha

Trev 11-13-2003 12:19 PM

I feel for the guy who plane landed in the field and started to burn... how much money did he just lose from having 2 left hands

Shok 11-13-2003 12:21 PM

Thats Ramstein VooMan...German metal lol

that burn probably cost him around 5k

VooMan 11-13-2003 12:25 PM

Ah, I didn't have the sound up very loud. Guess the .ru domain threw me. :awinky:

Shok 11-13-2003 12:26 PM

Thats video from the world scale masters in South Africa....too hot, lots of engine problems.

My favorite part is that idiot putting his hand behind the tailpipe. I bet he never does that again.

thats not as bad as I expected... I'd still be pissed if it was mine though

Peaches 11-13-2003 12:56 PM

I only own things that can be crashed if I'm able to get insurance on them. B)

Carrie 11-13-2003 01:20 PM

God can you imagine pumping that much money into something just to watch it smash into pieces? Ouchhhhhh
I really liked the music too :okthumb:

Vick 11-13-2003 01:26 PM

Guess I couldn't take my 6th grade balsa wood plane with the rubber band driven propeller to a competition

Very interesting, after seeing that video I'd like to see a normal (non-crash) landing

this si not Russian...the words are in German.

Vick 11-13-2003 01:38 PM

Thanks Shok

Looking at these videos it's obvious a lot of work, time, love and effort is invested in these planes

And the close ups really make you think you're looking at a full size passenger airliner

Trev 11-13-2003 01:40 PM

Thats an awesome plane, pure quality. Great landing as well :okthumb:

That was COOL. I would've loved to have seen a person standing right next to it so I could get a better idea on how large it is... looks like you'd need a motorcycle trailer just to haul the thing around!

Shok 11-13-2003 02:02 PM

it's about 150 inches long with a 90 inch wingspan and weighs about 125 pounds

Yup, I got it... I had the volume down really low when I watched it, so I really couldn't hear the lyrics. (I gotta keep it quiet here in the office or that SweetT character will read me the riot act). ;-)

When he went to lunch I cranked it up and it's definitely German. Good song too. :okthumb:
