I wonder if there's a timeline anywhere that shows all the wonderful new inventions/sandwiches that fast food companies come out with to lure in customers. Seems it's been quite crazy over the last 5-10 years, before that I was too young to care/remember and all I wanted was a burger.

On to the latest creation, the BK Chicken Baguette sandwich, loaded with FRESH peppers and onions and fire grilled. Something you would definetly find on a menu of say an Applebees type restaurant where they would know how to prepare it. If Fresh refers to only been frozen for 1 week instead of 2 I'm not sure but let's just say the combo of veggies that were loaded on top of this were neither fresh nor flame grilled. Anyone else try this thing and been impressed? You gotta applaud them for going towards healthy alternatives, the value meal came with a salad and a bottled water.

C,

Based on how bad it was DIRECTLY out of the restaurant I would doubt you would want one sent to you, but you can probably make a better one yourself, grill green and red peppers and onions, put that on top of grilled chicken on a baguette and add a sauce of your choosing.

funny your bring that up Toolz

I stopped by BK about a week ago cuz i was hungry and figured i havent been there is ages. I looked at the Baguette and thought that cant be good comming from BK so i got a wopper instead. That was real nasty i felt like shit for the next hour.

I remember when BK used to taste good, now its like crap in a bun.

FWIW... Those new 'ThickBurgers' at Hardees are very good burgers...

Nothing beats an In-n-Out Double Double 'Animal Style' though IMO...
