Scientific observation of homosexual necrophilia in a duck
Members of the scientific community often publish "observations" as opposed to research. Observations are just that -- things observed in nature (or, in the case of medicine, illnesses or injuries in humans) that the scientist thinks other scientists will be interested to know. "On 5 June 1995 an adult male mallard (Anas platyrhynchos) collided with the glass façade of the Rotterdam Nature Museum and died. Another drake mallard raped the corpse almost continuously for 75 minutes". You can see the photo on http://www.nmr.nl/deins815.htm Coming soon a poll - what's sicker - this thread or the Confucy/Mitnick thread |
