I wonder what important United Nations Councils Gambia chairs. Given that Syria is on the Security Council and Libya is on the Human Rights Committee and Iraq was chairing the non-proliferation or equivalent committee, I imagine Gambia chairs the International Centre for Science and High Technology (ICS). The police spokesman said many men in Serekunda were now afraid to shake hands, and he urged people not to believe reports of "vanishing" genitals. Belief in sorcery is widespread in West Africa.

Seven alleged penis snatchers were beaten to death by angry mobs in Ghana in 1997.

Gambia is a fairly popular vacation destination from the UK these days. I used to send loads of people there on beach breaks and no one ever was beaten to death.

What was I trying to prove? I wasn't making this an America vs Gambia thing, PD. I was pointing out some of the absurdities people on this planet believe. You appear to take offense at my making fun of people who think sorcery is responsible for shrinking penises. Why?
